Host your events at Platform6

Our Startup House is located in the heart of Tampere. It is easily accessible by trains, buses, tramways, cars, bikes, e-scooters, you name it. In the neighbourhood, dynamic and fast-growing business district Tulli, you will find Tampere University, Marriott and Sokos Torni hotels, Tampere-talo, Uros Arena and numerous shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. That’s what they call a perfect location for an event, right? 

Our event venues are suitable for everything from seminars, workshops, hackathons, product launches and meetups to dinner parties, networking and community events, team-building and training sessions, happy hours and pitch nights. Whether you’re looking to host a live event, stream a session to the other side of the world or why not even a combination of both – we got you covered.

The venues are open for anyone with or without a Platform6 membership. We however, prioritise events that are of interest to our startups. Take a look at the options below and send us a booking request – the rest is on us!


Co-working, exhibition & event space

This venue is located on the 1st floor of Platform6 right next to the entrance and reception area. The setup is very flexible and can be adapted to the specific needs of your particular event.

  • a stage with benches and chairs,
  • a changing art exhibition of local artists,
  • an adjustable lighting system,
  • a soundproof meeting room with a table and chairs,
  • a guest Wi-Fi connection (with vouchers),
  • sliding walls that can make this area private,
  • a cloakroom and a cabinet with shelves.

Additionally available: TV screens, bluetooth speakers, cables, flip charts and other equipment upon request. Possibility to bring your own food & drinks or order catering services.

Headcount: 50 – 75 persons


Boardroom

Located on the -1 floor of Platform6, this space is ideal for high-level meetings, especially those that require privacy and video conference equipment.

  • 75’’ TV with cables,
  • Jabra PanaCast, Jabra PanaCast USB Hub, Jabra SPEAK 710 UC – 180° Panoramic-4K video, Intelligent Zoom, Whiteboard sharing, Intuitive camera technology, outstanding audio, Certified for use with Microsoft Teams and Zoom, Plug-and-play for maximum ease of use,
  • a whiteboard with markers and eraser,
  • an air-conditioning booster,
  • a large cloakroom with a space for suitcases and bags,
  • a guest wi-fi connection with vouchers.

Additionally available: TV screens, bluetooth speakers, cables, flip charts and other equipment upon request. Possibility to bring your own food & drinks or order catering services.

Headcount: 10 – 13 persons


Auditorium

Just next to the Boardroom on the -1 floor of Platform6, there is a large university-style event space soundproofed with acoustic panels. Perfect for workshops, masterminds, training sessions, panel discussions, media briefings and conferences, industry events, and so on.

  • a PC with 2 wireless microphones (normal and headset),
  • a projector and a white screen,
  • 7 speakers with a subwoofer,
  • an HDMI connector & adapter, a controller with connecting system for DVD, VHS, TV,
  • a document camera (to show on screen doc papers)
  • an air conditioning system with a booster system,
  • an adjustable lighting system,
  • a wi-fi connection with guest password vouchers,
  • a space for wheelchairs,
  • a large cloakroom with a space for suitcases and bags.

Additionally available: TV screens, bluetooth speakers, cables, flip charts and other equipment upon request. Possibility to bring your own food & drinks or order catering services.

Headcount: 114 persons


Auditorium + Boardroom + Lobby

If you have an event in mind that would comprise different audiences and types of activities (and maybe several days of those), you could consider this option. We will combine 3 spaces for you – our Boardroom, Auditorium and Lobby with a cloakroom. The Lobby is a great area for registration, reception, coffee breaks, networking and afterwork.

Additionally available: TV screens, bluetooth speakers, cables, flip charts and other equipment upon request. Possibility to bring your own food & drinks or order catering services.

Headcount: 114 persons + 13 persons
